CHRISTY DINIZ-LIFFMANN

Christy Diniz-Liffmann's work focuses on the artist’s long standing appreciation of nature’s pattern, texture and nuances of color and form. Her encaustic and acrylic paintings seamlessly blend her memories of specific places with landscapes conceived out of her own subconscious.

Diniz-Liffmann was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and grew up in a family that appreciated and practiced the arts. This atmosphere, rich with culture, was only enhanced by her close awareness and contact with the natural beauty of Brazil's flora and fauna.

Diniz-Liffmann completed residencies from Art Base, China and Auburn University in Italy and has exhibited from New Orleans to Houston to New Mexico.
